Waiting for a burger at what was recently declared the best burger in the entire country. Yes, apparently.
This Hamilton burger truck — and its signature patty — won a national competition

Galaxy Burger won The Great Burger Showdown at the Restaurants Canada trade show.

Had the signature burger, the Galaxy, in a double patty configuration. Pretty good. However, I wish I had chosen a burger not *quite* so festooned - the fried onions and perhaps the extra patty might have been too much. Nevertheless, good stuff, would try again. https://www.galaxyburger.ca/
Alright I'm back here again for another stab at The Best Burger In Canada. This time, single patty, no crispy onions. Will report.
Better representation of the form I'd say. Still not convinced it's the BEST BURGER IN ALL OF CANADA but it's good.
To tell you how much of a hinterlands I apparently am in I have seen both a rabbit and a fox while waiting for the bus.

@adr I am amazed at how some wildlife seems to co-exist with us near a dense part of North York.

We see rabbits, and on neighbourhood walks - foxes, coyotes. I haven't seen deer in the immediate vicinity (I do all the time in nearby ravines), but my wife has. There have also been falcons.

@adr What is *supposed* to be best about it?
@redlibrarian dunno man, just won that as an award at a Restaurants Canada competition or something.
@adr Yeah, and I read the write up and couldn't tell what was supposed to be so amazing.
@redlibrarian i mean it's fine and it's not even *that* badly priced (this burger was $10). But yeah, BEST IN CANADA? Dunno
@adr And you've had VJ's in downtown Winnipeg!
@adr In my own burger taxonomy, the extra patty is usually a waste.
@redlibrarian yeah, agreed. Next time single patty, probably the Terra or Superstar.

@adr Looks good.

Happy to invite you to Mama's Boys in our manor that is unbelievable.

@scruss I would like this very much!!!
@adr I think we'd both balk at their most expensive burger. I think it's tenderloin. I had it once. It was very very very good, but I'm not spending $25 on a 4 oz burger again
@adr I love an excessive burger.
@adr Did I miss something, or does this article not say anything about the "signature" patty? Let me know how the burger is!
