I see Hornby is introducing an affordable OO-scale Class 08.
Why did it take so long? The 08 is iconic and ideally suited for small layouts, and you can prototypically offer it in 82 liveries. But there was nothing but £100+ deluxe models and terrible old trainset models.
I hope it has NEM coupler pockets so I can outfit it with Kadees and consist it with a GE U25B.
