I’m still struggling finding the way to organize my samples in Bitwig. What do you do?
In Studio One I used the stock samplers. Sample One for all synths, which I set up as presets organized in folders. I can use Bitwigs sampler, but it leaves me with two issues.
1) I can’t seem to find a way to organize my self-made presets, similar to using folders. Leaving me with one long list.
2) The sampler has limited functions, so I need to load additional plugins, which takes extra steps.

I should mention that my purpose is making my huge synth sample library available for easy browsing and fast customization.
The files are originally organized in folders within folders, so browsing the files are slow.
I can use SFZ files in Bitwigs sampler, which is pretty cool, but there is no preview function, so I’m back at the unorganized preset problem, unless I want to load every SFZ file manually to check it out.

I have considered using a different sampler. Reason NNXT could be an option, since most of the synth sounds are made ready with NNXT presets, and it would solve my browsing problem.
But the NNXT is not the fast customizing-option, more just the browsing option.
The optimal would be to just bring the way I set it up in Sample One. When do daw makers start making their plugins cross-DAW like Reason?

The last idea I have is using the method I use on my Akai Force.
On the Akai Force I have made every synth sounds available as a key group, organized in folders. But then I have also created a browsing folder per synth, so I can quickly swipe through one note of all sounds.
Could give me the fast browsing, and then I could just go to the sound folder and drag’n’drop the files to the Bitwig sampler. Because that works really great!

I actually think my main issue with this in Bitwig is my usual workflow.
I’m so used to starting in the browser when I need to find something. And used to having a one-click method for sound browsing.
Well, that was my thoughts. What do you think?

One approach could be to find a way to use the pop-up browser, which can speed things up in Bitwig.
I could then:
1) Create a custom sampler preset, where I have prepared modulation, arpeggio, chorus, verb etc...
2) Setup Remotes to control what I would like to easily access
3) Load the individual multi-sample sound folders
4) Save and tag the sounds, so I can sort and search using the in-browser functions of Bitwig (which is not folder based).
