ArchiveScribe@danirabbit I'm old enough to remember how for a short time we started to take it seriously in the 70s, even getting environmental legislation passed (some of it under Nixon [of all people]!), but by the 1980s reverted. Since that time, it's been a seesaw between administrations. One step forward, two steps back, and back...and back. It's been frustrating to see this happen during the course of my life.
