RegnaWhen I was in Bulgaria, there was an ”owl handler” doing short ”shows” in various outdoor restaurants, and let people put on those huge gloves to let the owl sit on their arm for a short while. Broke my heart, the owl was so stressed.
anon6789There’s opportunity to do good things with public displays, but the animal’s happiness needs to be top priority, not the show itself. When our ambassadors get stressed, they get to go back to privacy.
OP’s owl looks pretty chill sitting there. It looks nicely fluffed and interested in the person taking the photo.
