This is Exodus 21:2-11. It supports slavery; restrained, non-racial slavery, but slavery nonetheless.
SchmooThe bible does not construct a consistent moral framework; it has vastly different - even contradictory - moral messaging because it is multiple texts written and constantly revised by multiple people who lived hundreds or even thousands of years apart, in different parts of the world, and for many different reasons. By picking and choosing which parts of the bible to emphasize you can use it to support a wide range of moral arguments. This is both a feature and a bug for charlatans throughout history who use it as a means of control.
