I was thinking recently that it was too bad I didn't really like using Cual a lot because his design constantly gave me issues and wasn't appealing enough. And then I thought, wait, this is a solvable problem.
I mean, I originally designed Cual when I was in middle school and there's literally nothing stopping me from redesigning him to fit my current sensibilities more...
@rickgriffin I had to page back to remember how Cual evolved over time. I don't believe I can blame my memory for not being able to immediately associate; this is quite the evolution (and I'm here for it)!
It's wonderful not to be constrained by any rules in fantasy and let our characters and tastes grow with our experiences and proclivities.
Have to admit (with bias) that I love the redesign of the blasted side of his face! I remember Istences's face confounded you more than once, but it doesn't feel like that'll happen ever again. -^^-
