camethedawnxp. @MaryAnnJohanson i know where i can get a used bike, but i don't know if i have to take tests and get a license to operate it on the street and how much that would cost. a bicycle would be a real advantage right now.
@camethedawnxp Are there places where you need a license to ride a bike on the street? I don’t think I’ve ever heard that!
. @MaryAnnJohanson last i knew there was in my city. bikes were categorized as a vehicle, so you'd need to take tests, and i think get a license to drive them on the road under many of the same traffic laws that apply to automobiles. that was when i was young. not so sure now. things might've changed, i'd have to check on that.
. @MaryAnnJohanson also, i since moved from the city i grew up in. but traffic laws are federal so i'm assuming the laws should still apply everywhere?
