@OldSquida2 my take on pacifism is personality type or hormones or genetic disposition. I have an automatic violent reaction to physical threats, partly due to experienced trauma. A lot of people have an automatically passive response to assault: play dead it will stop. Both i think of as valid responses, both work depending on the scenario. Non violent revolution can take a very long time and is often overlooked, violent revolution is very noticeable and can speed things up. Each side has developed philosophies and theories as to why they are right, but it all probably boils down to who you are and what your strengths are. There is no need to justify your approach, but non violent anarchists are still anarchists who have different skills from anarchists who use violence as a tool. If we were all out blowing things up, who would post bail and feed the kids?
