When did caring about the planet become “un-Christian”?

In this episode of Cold Facts, Hot Takes, I take on troll comments about faith and climate change - and I get a lot of them.

When did caring about the planet become “un-Christian”?

Christian climate scientist's take on ideology over theology

@kathhayhoe we be given dominion of it all, f-ing it all up and returning it to god

The #Republican Party naturally draws people who are drawn to Authoritarianism.

God is the ultimate "Protector/Punisher/Authority". So politicians who promise to "protect" their subjects from every imagined "evil" and "punish evil-doers" as long as you don't question their authority are VERY attractive to #Evangelicals/#Zionists.

So when that same Party equates "#Green" with "atheists who are lying & making your life unnecessarily difficult", Evangelicals are quick to follow. 😞

@kathhayhoe
Christians have been descimating nature to tame it forever because they interpret "dominion over" as destroy and dominate.

Am a Christian and an environmental activist who believes in taking care of our planet as an instruction from God after creating the first man. I don't know which kind of believes are against the activity of conserving the environment but all I can say is that they're not true believers. What's their argument against conserving the environment?
