@ftg Possibly, although now I think the PIPP it might fit. I wasn't planning on building the stereo encoder part immediately anyway as it's easier to test when it still makes left and right audio output. The PIPP is a strange limiter, polarity independent peak programme, it limits positive and negative separately so it can always hit both peaks. I do want to hear how it sounds…

That does sound like an interesting limiter.

@ftg Sure is, you can put a sine wave in and the distortion is low, but obviously it's capable of deliberately distorting waveforms by huge amounts and even shifting the DC point.
