Hey everyone, considering picking up #Slay the Spire on Windows. To #blind players of the game through the accessibility mods, is it worth getting the bundle with both one and two? The mod for two is not out yet, but the developer has said he is in the process of testing things for a Slay the Spire 2 mod and should have it in the Play Testing room on the forum in the coming weeks. With the Steam Spring sale, both games together run about $30.
@NicksWorld @Rich I love the first one, had no idea there was a second mod planned but my sighted partner plays this game too and told me about the second game releasing soon.
@GamingWithEars Yep there is a mod for #2. Link in this thread :)

@Rich @NicksWorld Oh yeah it is definitely worth it. I have played both. The mods work the exact same, and actually the accessibility mod is out for STS2. The instalation process is a bit different in the sense it's done from the releases page on Github rather than Steam Workshop. Link is below.

@Kingslayer @NicksWorld I'm guessing once he gets things more stable with the mods for 2 he'll add them to Steam?
@Rich @NicksWorld I'm not sure to be honest. Maybe? But also maybe this is how mods are done now? The game is still in early access so I suppose only time will tell. The one thing I do like about the mods not being done through Steam directly is you can actually use the desktop shortcut and still have speech. With STS1 you have to launch it directly from Steam if you don't wanna do the workaround in the documentation.
@Kingslayer @NicksWorld Idc too much about having to configure things. Github installs aren't necessarily hard, it's just more time consuming than anything else. I think the person who made the mod is pretty active on ChatMUD so I could talk to him there if I have problems.
@Rich @NicksWorld Oh ok makes sense. Just thought I'd mention that in case. :) if you need any help with the game or anything I'd also be glad to assist.
