I had to laugh while watching the movie Roofman, which is based on real life events. It has Channing Tatum, as escaped prisoner, casually introduce himself with the alias John Zorn. Nobody ever suspected a thing based on the name.

Zorn is of course the legendary (albeit underground) New York composer and saxophonist.

@niels oh so Derek Cianfrance directed this? Makes sense. Mike Patton composed the music of one of his earlier films (The Place Beyond the Pines). He also directed the music video for Sudden Death (Mr. Bungle).

@dpplggr Cool! I didn't know. Since this movie is based on real events I checked Wikipedia if the John Zorn alias was true and looks like it actually is. So it's not something they made up for the movie :-)
