A short weekend trip to the Žuvintas Reserve. The Žuvintas Reserve is Lithuania’s first protected area. It is the first and only biosphere reserve in Lithuania. Thousands of migrating cranes and geese, as well as other waterfowl and marsh birds, stop to rest within the reserve.
