If I have one more fucking techbro explain to me that actually, I’m the problem for criticising Big Tech (and, yes, fucking Linux distributions and components tied to trillion-dollar corporations is also Big Tech) I am going to scream.

(Actually, I’m just going to block and move on and not give you another thought this lifetime. And maybe also scream.)

@aral any big company holding Linux are big tech. Ubuntu, RedHat, Elementary OS, etc. To this date I still hate Ubuntu.

@far1925 To be fair - not that fair is the treatment I’ve received from them – Elementary OS are not Big Tech. They’re a small group working on their own distribution and trying to earn a living from it. It’s what first attracted me to them.

@aral it's honestly depressing, as someone who born with sparkling eyes at tech, to see tech are corrupts at best, even on the open source part, that God will wipe the whole tech away in the future and go back to 600M. (According to Muslim)

I still have no other skills other than IT up to now especially considering it is not (culturally and by bloodline) permissible for me and taboo to work outside of office work in the place I'm in.
