@jeffjarvis They’d still be making buggies, harnesses and buggy whips watching Henry Ford come along and squash the Detroit Electric and Baker Electric cars. Now they’re stuck in the proverbial internal combustion rut. Change or die!

@jeffjarvis @dsilverman We are a two-EV family with solar. My car “fuel” cost for both is ~$15/month. Better half wanted one last fling with a manual transmission, and we almost pulled the trigger. Now reconsidering. Bummer. Would have been fun.
