It's hard to anticipate how heavy the rain will be here, 2 weeks ago I got over 150mm/h rainfall and it looked like nothing much on the radar, today it looked like an hour of torrential rain was about to hit, but it peaked briefly at about 60mm/h, distance from the radar, it used to seem accurate near the city?
