Arcadiagt5@prk @ShaulaEvans I can relate. About the only time I’ve ever successfully slept on a flight was when I was up for 48 hours straight before hand playing board games at #SwanCon before flying to Singapore on my way to London (2001 IIRC). And, yeah, once the flight left Perth, I slept.

@prk @ShaulaEvans One morbidly hilarious in hindsight aspect of that Easter 2001 trip was that I bought a Swiss Card (essentially a Swiss Army knife in a credit card form factor) on the flight back from London and was handed it ON THE PLANE. Fast forward to September 2001 and the dawn of the Security Theatre Era and that would never be possible again…
