@DrALJONES they might last a little longer than the rest because of some food supplies they've built up, but in the end they still need fresh food when theirs runs down. Who's going to work on the land when there is no one left? When it's too dry or too wet to grow anything successfully? It's an illusion to think billionaires will rebuild a society after the collapse.

@DrALJONES can they produce their own medication? Medication expires in a few years time. What resources do they have to make new medication? Can they build and repair farming machines and farming tools? Who's going to produce the metal needed for it? They will need more than a few farmers, a doctor and a dentist to survive in a world that has a kind of apocalyptic ending.

@DrALJONES yes, but these people grew up that way. These billionaires have lost all connection to nature and to other people. They are dependent on technology and money, which might both not function anymore after 'the event'.
