Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) has seen a stunning reversal in his support from his own party's voters since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2023, and Enten told "CNN News Central" that he has never seen an elected official lose backing so dramatically.

Back in 2023, he was a Democrat, liberal darling. He was at plus-68 points. Look at how low he has fallen, down to minus-40 points.

@Yehuda What happened to #Federman will probably remain an unsolvable mystery to me. He was one of my liberal heroes, and now he’s…well he is who he is. It seems like a stroke really can’t completely explain it. Was he putting on an act all that time as a #GOP plant? Or did they get to him with some kind of payoff? At this point I don’t feel like I can rule anything out.
