✔️ Protects Students and Educators
- Households with minor children enrolled in one of Anaheim’s school districts cannot be evicted during the school year
- Educators working in one of Anaheim’s school districts cannot be evicted during the school year
✔️ Safer Neighborhoods and Healthy Homes
- Limits evictions that don’t have a reason, so people can stay housed and not become homeless
- Renters will be able to make landlords fix bad living conditions
✔️ Keeps Our Communities Together
- Creates a rent board comprised of local residents, so landlords and tenants don’t have to spend time and money at court
- Landlords must notify renters of their rights in the language spoken by the resident
