We have 2 dogs, so I get a little paranoid that our house has dog smell. So it’s always a relief to come back from a few days away to find that it just smells completely normal.
Never been to a house of people that have dogs and there wasn’t a dog smell.

Honestly I don’t know! The main level of our house is all wood floors which probably helps. But other than that we don’t have any unusual cleaning practices.
Maybe I have a kind of long term nose blindness that persists for days. 🤷♂️
