Baloo UrizaThe "freeze a plastic mixer bowl full of water, then put it in front of a fan" swamp cooler trick managed to keep the house comfortably cool despite the brutal 36°c heat outside today. Just need to put the fan in the window the other way around so the fan's not trying to fight the south wind tonight... the house didn't exactly get to cool off last night.
I put the ice in front of the fan around noon when it started getting warm in the house, and that managed to keep it around 23° at peak, and the heat should be breaking outside anytime now.
