reading this while seething with envy and thinking back to that time a couple of years ago when i said in the chat of an art stream that i really wanted to go to conventions in japan whenever i could finally visit and the streamer was like "why would you go in japan to do that and not to visit temples" I'M SORRY THAT I YEARN FOR A FANDOM SCENE I CANNOT HAVE

it’s really hard not to envy fujoshi over there making/exchanging doujinshi and doujin goods with each other

that’s not exactly a thing over in Western fandom afaik
