As a fan of the outdoors, I'm a little surprised by the lack of (semi-)realistic camping/hiking gear and its use in video games.

Occasionally I'll catch streams of games with some interesting elements (Oh, look at all these cool backpacks in Tarkov! Oh, this tent and gas cooker in Cairn look neat!), but they never seem to a) use it to its full potential, and b) combine it with gameplay and/or narrative I'm actually interested in.
