Kharg Island is only around 15 miles off the coast of Iran. Ships can't reach it without transiting the Strait of Hormuz and sailing hundreds of miles up the Persian Gulf. Putting troops on it would be the easy part. It's keeping them there that would be tricky

@jalefkowit Deploying troops to Kharg is legit insane. They are dug in and will have clear lanes of fire on our people the entire time.
@jalefkowit Kharg is basically a big sand bar. No cover or concealment, sand so you can't really dig in, no place to retreat to... It's a death trap.
