“Minutes” gets years for cocaine possession

The High Court has fined a man GY$1.7 million and sentenced him to six years imprisonment for being in possession of 1.156 kilogrammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking 10 years ago, the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) said Friday. He is Shemroy "Minutes" Robertson. Justice  Priscilla Chandra-Hanif imposed the monetary and custodial penalties on Robertson on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
