I decided i want a companion. Specifically Rex. So i did the Osiris Tour. But I'm really dumb and I'm trigger happy so when his friends pretend to die i blow them up with a grenade launcher. Osiris doesn't like that so he joins the fight until he sees he's not gonna win. Sorry Osiris, if you hadn't tricked a dummy with grenades you would still be alive. #falloutNewVegas

I put ten points into survival making it 35, and i put one point into lockpick bringing it to 15. Now i can pick an easy lock if i also have a magazine, and the survival skill will open up more campfire recipes. I should probably keep going on explosives though.
I took the Finesse perk, which provides more critical hits in combat, like having 5 extra luck points

I'm level seventeen and i only just found Mick and Ralph's but there's a glitch that prevents the barter dialog from opening so i can't buy anything from them.
The Onertas sent me to get a container of chlorine from Mick. He would sell it to me if i was smart, but i am very not smart. He was not convinced that i needed it to make chlorophyll for my plants.
I tried to pickpocket him but i failed. He didn't attack (smart, really) but i wanted to die. I figured i could throw a couple grenades, die, and the auto save from when i entered the room would load. But i didn't die. It barely hurt me. So i considered the fact that these guys are glitched and decided this works better.
I killed Mick and i stole his chlorine so the Onertas can make a chemical weapon of mass destruction. All well and good stuff 🥳

Ok sweet. Roulette was not working for me at all but the slots hit big occasionally and blackjack is an easy consistent small win so i got my casino earnings just below 8000 and went to the slots to finish with as much as possible

I put points into survival to get it to 55, and the remainder into sneak. That lets me take the Them's Good Eatin' perk so a blood sausage or thin red paste will appear on half the living things i kill now

So that new perk might just make the Big MT survivable in hardcore mode with very hard difficulty

I used all my grenades and i was really expecting to find a bunch of MFC ammo in here to make more but so far it's all EC stuff.

I'm trying to clear the central plateau in Big MT. That mostly means i sneak around with my katana trying to engage lobotomies one at a time.

I cleared the east side of the plateau and started on the west side. I thought going into X-12 sounds interesting but there's nothing to do until i can break this force field. So I'm chilling, talking to my wife IRL and a recovery suit wearing lobotomite with a rail gun starts to glitch up through the bottom of the force field. #falloutNewVegas
There's a fight coming and i didn't see it until almost too late. So i go about using my katana against this thing. I'm doing ok, i even knock his gun out of his hand but we're both still like 80% HP when i do VATS. Miss Fortune appears on the wrong side of the force field. Apparently she's beholden to forcefield logic like i am because I'm waiting for her hit to get the lobotomite, which can't happen so I'm stuck in no-control-slow-mo. But the lobotomite isn't. They pick up their gun and kill me just fine
