I'm not mad at this. While the day wait will be annoying, it would only be annoying once and is probably necessary for stupid people.

It seems this would be all that comes of the "locked down Android" we were all worried about.

They will make it worse. It might take a year or two or three, but they on the path of locking down Android for few years already and that's not the end.

@eris for me it's not a hypothesis, I've been publishing my software on their market since 2016 and they always looking for new ways to screw over everybody.

As for locking down Android, it started a while ago, with somewhat acceptable features that do in fact help with the security and privacy, unless they suddenly introduce new crap like scoped storage that doesn't help with security but only makes everything slow.
