Robin Frost@Mendi_Tech Curious if you've used the envision glasses and if they act similarly in terms of all the things you're enjoying. i'm assuming the Meta didn't do as well then? I do like hearing comparisons. And yes it is a pity about their connectivity but perhaps that extends their battery life? Are they light or heavy on the face?
@robini71 The envision glasses don't perform like they once did, unfortunately, but yes, when I first got them I did things like read mail and other things independently, and I could have it describe scenes and/or if I put it in explore mode they would tell me what was in front of me. For example, I once walked into someone's office and it told me there was a plant to my left. The meta glasses are useful for mainstream things, but for reading, I still can't recommend them just yet. Right now, I truly think the EchoVision is the best option out there. i'm sure that will change, tech is always moving forward, but right now, that's where i'm at. Also, the glassses aren't very heavy. They're similar to the metas.
