Mildly interested to see RealTimeTrains (an presumably the signalling system in GB) works to the nearest ¼ minute (15 seconds), but rounds down how late we are running… 🤓🤔
May only be mildly interesting if you’ve spend quite a lot of time travelling on trains recently and it’s dark outside 😆
At 4h 6min I think that is the fastest London to Edinburgh train trip I’ve had. 🙂
@drnoble 801 per chance?
Realtime Trains | 1S24 1630 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh | 20/03/2026

@drnoble adds up. Those electric only units feel like they’re rocket powered when the driver goes full send on them.

Very much the superleggera edition of those trains.

@drnoble Exciting if one is wondering whether delay repay will kick in or not. On way to #SotM-EU was obscurely pleased that my train stopped for 3-4 minutes outside Haymarket, thus guaranteeing 60 minutes of delay.
