I don't have much round bases left to rebase old Wizkids Clix minis. So I had to actually use the laser cutting machine from the local fablab.

I got some help from a colleague, as I knew I didn't remember a few practical things to be able to pilot the machine on my own.

I cut a 3mm thick piece of MDF that was left over from someone else previous work, putting as much bases I could on the surface available.

That went well and I now have more than enough bases in stock.

Beveling bases by hand takes a little time but there is something I find satisfying in the work.

And I was late on some podcasts anyway.

(and the Dremmel-like tool I lent to a friend never came back)
