Good Friday afternoon everyone, I hope that you all are doing well and having a good day? I'm doing pretty well and happy it's finally spring! It's 58 and cloudy here.
@Rickster1963 NOt bad...About the same here in Washington Court House, though hearing we could see 80 by Sunday...Then back into the 40's for Monday. LOL...Gotta love Ohio weather.
@countrymetalhead Yeah, the weather is just crazy!
@Rickster1963 Truly. You're up closer to Cleveland, right? Down here, we had 70's on Sunday...snow Monday and Tuesday. I'm about halfway between Columbus and Dayton I think.
@Rickster1963 @countrymetalhead You've got that the weather being crazy.
@countrymetalhead @Rickster1963 ohio weather has been just as fucked up. oh sure, we aren't hitting 80 yet, but it has been just as bad around here. last sunday we were at 66, and by tuesday it was only 25 for a high, and today we are right now sitting at 66 again.
@countrymetalhead @Rickster1963 shucks. We've been in the 90's these last couple days and more. Too warm for this time of the year though I love the low humidity.
@Rickster1963 here spot is galivanting around the sky, and it is 66.
@JamminJerry No spot here, he'll be here tomorrow. It's not a bad day though, I'll take it.
@Rickster1963 I wish you had spot, and we had the clouds. the kitchen and the living room are at 78 almost 79 degrees.
@JamminJerry Oh wow, it sure doesn't take much sun to heat things up there! It would do the same here if spot was out, it hits this side of the building all afternoon long.
@Rickster1963 yeah, I have two windows in the living room right beside each other, and then you have the kitchen/dining room that has two windows. one faces south, so the sun starts hitting that mnaybe around noon? or so, and the other kitchen window right above the sink. that one the sun hits first thing in the morning, so between the kitchen, and the living room, this end of the trailer gets sun all fucking day! lol!
@JamminJerry Yeah, too bad you don't have any shade trees there that would help.
@Rickster1963 the cloest tree is across the street from us.
@JamminJerry That's not close enough lol
@Rickster1963 no it most certainly isn't! lol!
@Rickster1963 may is the luckiest of us all! while her bedroom is like the living room and has two windows side by side, her windows are north, and she gets absolutely no sunshine in her room at all. right now her room says it is 73.4 degrees.
@JamminJerry Yeah, she is lucky lol
@Rickster1963 Kalvin and Jaydon's rooms are on the same side as the living room, but they only have one window in there bedrooms. jaydon's is almost 76, and kalvins is almost 74 I think.
@JamminJerry It's 75 in the living room here and 73.2 in the bedroom
@Rickster1963 I keep our thurmastat between 72 and 73.
@JamminJerry Yeah, nothing is on here so it just does what it feels like.
@JamminJerry The heat is set to 72 but is now off and the air is set to 70 when I have it on.
@Rickster1963 I don't set our air to 70, as that is a bit too cool for me. not only that, depending on how hot it is outside, it makes it run a lot longer at a time. I keep our air at around 73 as well. if it starts getting really hot outside, making the air run more and more, I bump it up to 74 or 75, because that is still tolorable.
@JamminJerry I mainly run mine at night when I want to stay cool.
@Rickster1963 our heat is on 72, but I just leave it on so that later tonight, if it needs to kick in, it can.
@JamminJerry Yeah, yours might get cool over night.
@Rickster1963 we are suppose to get down to 35 tonight.
@JamminJerry Yeah here too but the apartment won't cool down much I don't think, so I'll leave the heat off here.
@Rickster1963 here is some little secret tricks for you. well one main trick. if you just keep your heat or your air set to where you know it is comfortable, lets just use mine 73 for example, it is best to leave the heat on when it goes above 73, or your hair on when it goes below 73 depending on which you are using. if in the summer you turn your air off, and you don't turn it back on until it gets up to 77, it is going to run constent, and hard until it gets to 72 or 72. where if you just leave the air on, it will start working once it gets to 74/75 in your apartment, and cool it down, which mneans it will work a lot less to get it down to that temp, and work oless keeping it there.
@JamminJerry Yes, that is very true.
@Rickster1963 so using my example, right now it is too cold for the air, so we are using heat, as it still gets rather chilly at night. but like I said right now, it is almost 79 in here, the heat is on, but set at 73. so it won't kick in until it hits 72 in here, instead of me waiting until I get cold, lets say 70 or 69, and then it has to work harder to get us back up to 73. smile.
@JamminJerry It doesn't get so cold here with apartments above and below and one beside me. It's kind of like insulation.
@Rickster1963 sadly though with apartments, while that part is actually nice, if you fart someone might pound on your cealing. I know, I had it happen at sometime between 4:30 and 5:00 in the morning when I let a very healthy very loud fart into the toilet. ROFL! it was funny I have to admit, but still. you have to be very very careful how loud you are in your apartment.
@JamminJerry LOL very true. Ffortunatly our walls and floors and ceilings are all concrete so it's not so bad. I live on a nice quiet floor as well.
@Rickster1963 right, but listening to music like I do, you can very easielly get in trouble. what you don't think is loud, someone else might. I should know. again, been there, done that.
@JamminJerry Oh yeah, I completely know what you mean. I make sure not to play mine too loud here. I used to have a neighbor down below me that played theirs very loud and I didn't like it and had to complain a few times.
@Rickster1963 see that's just it, depending on how loud it was, and how often someone does it, I don't say shit, but I expect the same curdicy if I want to listen to some music of my own. the speakers I have on my computer now would deffinitly get me in trouble. a 12 inch sub. even turned most of the way down, it can still have some pretty good kick.
@JamminJerry Yeah, I know what you mean. I've learned to not bother the neighbors as long as they don't bother me lol.
@Rickster1963 oh sure, I can't be loud as fuck here, but I can be louder than I can in an apartment. smile.
@Rickster1963 It feels like summer here. having a good day & got two loads of laundry done & it was a stay at home day.
@Rickster1963 So far. So good and my day is good as well.
