I've broken create project and create board apart, this is to facilitate starting a board completely from FreeCAD.
Working on a bunch of other small niceties, like currently active project.
André@ICH_NUR_ich Things are still progressing, I needed a small break to think over a couple large changes but am working through those now.
@morgan is it split cleanly that i can work on the PCB in KiCad then synicronize to FreeCAD ?
Or can i do PCB work in FreeCAD.
What about the board could then simulate the Code written for it. This would probably invole a new 3rd party opensource thing, that i do not know of that proably exist.

@ICH_NUR_ich yes, as of now the work flow is KiCAD > FreedCAD then bidirectional. The work I'm going now will enable starting the board from either.
Board sim... unlikely? But this could be handled outside KiConnect with a FreeCAD macro I suspect
