These types of racks seem so expensive. An aluminum hitch rack for an accessibility scooter is a quarter the price and has quadruple the capacity over this Saris one. I’m guessing the mechanism to allow tilt back is complex and expensive somehow. If the integrated ramp makes it so easy to load and unload, forget the tilt back and make it cheaper.

Agreed. Even carriers for full-sized motorcycles are more affordable than this one. And that’s precisely why I modified a motorcycle carrier to move my ebike around.
