Aaron@LukefromDC I remember reading an interview of him, where he said he chose 8 different metaphors specifically to teach people about them, IIRC. (I have not found it again to confirm if my memories are accurate, but they are at least close to the truth.)
One of the metaphors was precisely oil and the middle east.
