DoorDash is paying its 8 million drivers to film themselves doing chores, washing dishes, folding laundry, scanning shelves, to train AI models.
The app is called Tasks. Drivers have completed 2 million+ assignments since 2024. Pay shown upfront. Data goes to DoorDash and partners in retail, insurance, and tech.
Notice the excluded states: California, NYC, Seattle, Colorado. All places with stronger gig worker and data privacy laws. Where rules are tighter, this program doesn't launch.
