fuck off.

imagine if windows required you to wait 24hrs before you could install programs outside of the MS store.

your phone is a computer, and this is an anti-competitive move that has the intentional side effect of incentivizing consumers to install apps from google instead of other markets.

“you can’t do this!”

“but i’ve always been able to do this!”

waits a year

“fine, but now you have to wait 24 hours because because because i said so!”

“oh! well in that case, i guess it’s not so bad!”

everyone that is happy about this is an easily manipulated buttbrain

@vozercozer As an easily manipulated butt brain I find the assumption my kind are happy about this to be a little offensive.

I actually feel very called out here. I need a 24 hour timeout to be allowed to change my device settings? Really? I'm THAT bad?

It's like I'm back at home being told I'm too irresponsible to use "cooking implements" because I burned some popcorn, which seriously could have killed everyone--my bad.

Just more reason to hate my phone. Whatever, man. Don't blame us.

@vozercozer Seriously though, when the hackers just adapt by helping people through the waiting period they'll have users who are even more secure in the fact that nothing they're doing right now could be dangerous or bad because they waited for google's timeout and aren't being manipulated.
