But actually this is genius. We're at a point where masses of people trust the AI more than they trust experts.
If Bernie told people "foreign parties use AI to influence elections", they wouldn't believe it. But hearing the AI itself say it - that's different.
McNeely@ninafelwitch @monster I couldn't stomach the whole thing. It's a novel stunt but I don't like the idea of Sanders treating Claude as a thing that holds a conversation with him; is going to further legitimize the entire conception of AI as a fully capable autonomous thing
@McNeely that train departed a long time ago. The cat is out of the bag. Everyone and their grandma is treating LLMs like something you can have a conversation with. There's no going back.
