When I say I want to go back to the #past, I always mean that I'd want to go back to an idealized version of my past self based on what I know now. I would not want to relive my #adolescence the way it was, for instance, being #paranoid that a magic man in the sky would strike me down for looking at an attractive person in the eye for more than one second because that meant I was guilty of the #sin of #lust. Growing up in a #cult definitely put a damper on my love life, that's for sure.
