The X-Files 2x24: "Our Town": On paper, this is a fairly interesting concept and scenario. But up until the very final moments, where Scully is (once again) in peril, the episode struggles with a slow and plodding exploration of the core cannibalism idea. There's a token attempt, early in the episode, to suggest this case is meant to distract Mulder from his mission, but that never really goes anywhere. #TheXFiles
