I’m having the exact same conversation with my bosses. A 10G replication circuit fills up with batch jobs so their “fix” is to make it a 40G and they’re surprised when it fills up again. Instead of forcing the replication teams to calm the f* down… they’re considering 100G, which is actually 200G total and (4) 100G capable routers for redundancy. $$$$$$$$$

I know you can’t “slow down” traffic to solve Cali’s problem. The entire US needs better mass transit 30 years ago. Fuck cars.
