Taking a break from the Pixelfed ActivityPub refactor to wrap up and ship Loops Starter Kits.

It’s mind blowing how complex and over engineered StarterKits have become, like I built a S3 media proxy to handle header/icon updates while they await admin review, so only admins and the kit creator can view them.

Can’t wait to ship this though, consent driven discovery is very much needed, and thanks to Mastodon, Loops Starter Kits can be used by any supported software!

@dansup is it finally getting shipped today? And to mobile? Will any other improvements and features be coming in the update?

@UJO Starter Kits may ship later today, but only on web for now, we have to get the app update approved before it will be available on iOS.

@UJO Yeah, I'm still working on the official Android release, I will publish the updated APK on the website later this weekend.

@dansup Cool. Btw, seems like theres a lot of massive things to get accomplished in Q2. The roadmap has about 8 features. You reckon everything is still on track for getting them shipped? Just curious 😊
