A few months ago I programmed a little python script that pulls new releases posted by @RattleHead, searches for tracks that fit the name (with a slight tolerance) on #Qobuz and adds it to a playlist. I run this script about once every Friday. It contains always around 300 songs.

Maybe this is useful for someone. Feedback welcome :)

Interesting, I made something similar https://lemmy.ml/post/44148109

Hi I explored AI for work a bit and wondered if I can use some sources to deliver me metal playlists with new stuff weekly. I dissected the great Metal Releases [https://www.metalreleases.com/] app - which offers spotify links only. I don’t use that. Also I scraped metal-archives.com Upcoming list [https://www.metal-archives.com/release/upcoming], always just for the last week. Here are some lists, only for sub-genres which are of interest for me. - Metal Releases - Death Metal [https://link.deezer.com/s/32DCoMolh8zVuvGc4HkYR] - Metal Releases - Black Metal [https://link.deezer.com/s/32DLaALrk0N7wcaslMYjk] - Metal Releases - Grind [https://link.deezer.com/s/32DLcmH9iIL6yhZ4gpOKw] - Metal Archives - Death Metal [https://link.deezer.com/s/32DLdFF50RBRjKPRvrfub] - Metal Archives - Black Metal [https://link.deezer.com/s/32DLeyCNhBmuo0rkcNZGo] - Metal Archives - Grind [https://link.deezer.com/s/32DLfsZyjOg7rbbJ3TPoH] Deezer offers to export the playlists to Spotify, YT Music, Apple Music. I don’t know how accurate this is or good this works, I use it since a few weeks and refresh the playlists on fridays. @igorette Wow, this is indeed very similar, and takes Genres into consideration, nice :)
