Here's all that you need to know about Vercel and its CEO, Guillermo Rauch: Him meeting with war criminal Netanyahu in September 2025, being "optimistic" for the "greatness for Israel and its neighbors", and being a supporter of MAGA.

If somebody joins Vercel's board of directors in March 2026, then that's all I need to know to form my opinion about the character of said person.

If you don't know who this person might be I'm alluding to, search the internet for "vercel board of directors".

Not that long ago, that person (a billionaire) wondered why people are calling for guillotines instead of merely calling for taxing billionaires/him, and was shocked by the observation that some people literally wish for billionaires'/his death.

It's a real headscratcher why a growing part of the general public isn't content anymore with the more restrained of those two options when the candidates for guillotines reliably continue to (entirely voluntarily) choose the proximity of fascists and war criminals.

On a related note, I will no longer recommend the terminal emulator #Ghostty. I will even actively persuade people to stop using it. I won't separate the art from the artist.

@davidculley Sorry, but the relationship between Vercel and the ghostty project… it's not clear at all
About Ghostty

Ghostty
@davidculley I don't see the link if the fact that the creator of the terminal M. Hashimoto is working for Vercel it's not a strong enough reason IMHO but let's see in these estrange times
@thejtoken @davidculley to be clear, he is not "working for" Vercel, he is on the board of directors. That's the group of people who select and review the CEO. It's not an employee relationship, more of an owner relationship.
@gatesvp @davidculley Fair, I didn't know that key detail, but even so, I prefer to view Ghostty as an open-source project and decouple it from its author 🀞🏻
