I've been away from Mastodon for a few days and I've missed seeing your posts...
My husband suffered a stroke on Monday, and ever since it's been a chaotic whirlwhindy mess. But the mess has been dramatically improving. I can't believe it's only been four days... it feels like a month.

@dillyd Yes, remarkably. He regained clarity of speech, movement on his left side, and working on walking. They were able to treat him quickly and that made all the difference.

@dillyd Thank you so much! We are so fortunate that this excellent medical system -- ER, ICU, Rehab all connected -- so close to our house.
