@mr_grey @itsfoss long story made short : it's an executable file you get without a clue about who made it from what with what build chain.
So it brings back the responsibility to check everything on the shoulder of end user.
Exactly like running .exe on windows back in the days. 😵‍💫

@mr_grey @itsfoss security (risk of malware), confidence, optimization, clean and trusted building, proper update methid, respect of distros packagers work... Nothing is ok. 😩
