Alberta bill would limit medically assisted dying to patients facing 'reasonably foreseeable' death - Lemmy.ca

New legislation would prevent anyone in Alberta from accessing medical assistance in dying (MAID) if they are unlikely to die within the next 12 months.

Personally I find this terrible. If they wanted to reduce MAID applications they should be funding effective healthcare. Practicing medicine from the legislature should be criminal.
Personally I find it appalling. This is what this province has become, and how it signals to the world what our population is like: Cruel.
