Update: This might have just been a fluke. It only happened on 1/2 boxes I'm testing Waterfox on, both on flatpak.
Ok, the fact that #Waterfox wipes your history by default when closing is REALLY annoying.
Don't do that.
Bad Opinion GuyHot take about browsing history:
It should either be on or off. Clearing when closed is the worst of both worlds
erstwhile@rl_dane .. erm.. my waterfox does not do that out of the box. Have you maybe set that and forgotten, or have you confused Waterfox for Tor that does indeed do that?
there is, under "settings", in privacy section that does that ..
Brand new profile. I'm not exactly sure what the "Use custom settings for history" does, but my (local) history was wiped when I quit and re-opened it.
Then again, on this machine, it had the same setting, and didn't wipe it. Maybe a fluke?? I dunno.
