I'd love to update this SE 2 test device I have to the latest version of iOS 18 to prevent the severe security issues in the old version I'm running. But I can't because my only choice is to upgrade to iOS 26 which defeats the entire purpose of having this test device.
Matt Garber@paul That is a ridiculous decision by Apple this time around… preventing installation of point releases for prior iOS versions if the device is capable of running 26. Shortsighted and stupid.
Bruce@matt_garber @paul The only way they could juice the iOS 26 adoption numbers to look similar to iOS 18's?
